1. Acceptance

By using Filelume, users agree to these terms.

2. Service

Filelume provides browser-based viewing, validation, and export tools for supported file formats.

3. Local processing

Supported files are intended to be processed locally in the browser. Browser behavior and file complexity may affect results.

4. User responsibilities

Users are responsible for permission to process files, backups, reviewing exports, protecting confidential data, and following applicable law.

5. Prohibited use

Users must not disrupt the service, circumvent limits, manipulate advertising, use Filelume unlawfully, or submit intentionally malicious parser payloads.

6. Price

Filelume.biz is free. There is one tier, every feature on the site belongs to it, and there is nothing to buy.

Because no payment is taken:

  • No account, email address, or sign-in exists or is required.
  • No subscription is created, so nothing renews and nothing needs cancelling.
  • No refund, chargeback, or billing dispute can arise.
  • No feature is withheld pending payment, and no notice period applies to anything.

7. Advertising

The site is funded by advertising. Advertising is clearly separated from your file and never receives document content — see the Privacy Policy. Declining in the consent notice stops ad units from rendering.

8. No accounts

The service holds no user records. Nothing you do here is associated with an identity, which also means there is no history to recover, no settings to restore on another device, and no account to delete — your preferences live in your own browser.

9. Feature changes

Features may be added, changed, or withdrawn. Because nothing is paid for, a change to the feature set creates no entitlement, credit, or claim.

10. Export accuracy

Users must review detected datasets, columns, data types, missing values, flattened fields, formula-protection changes, and parser confidence.

11. Intellectual property

Filelume's brand, interface, original copy, articles, and code are protected to the extent permitted by law. Users retain rights to their own files.

12. Third parties

Hosting, advertising, analytics, consent, and external links may be governed by separate terms.

13. Availability

Filelume does not guarantee uninterrupted service or compatibility with every file and browser.

14. Disclaimer

The service is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis to the extent allowed by law.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Filelume and its operators are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by service use or unavailability.

16. Changes

The service and terms may be updated. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by an updated effective date.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
